Sleek i-Divine ultra mattes darks palette.

Looking at this packaging and pigmentation of this palette I would think it cost £30 but its only £7.99 from Boots.

Sleek is a very affordable brand but their eye shadow products are amazing quality. I can’t tell you about their other products because I haven’t tried anything else yet.  This palette is matte and it has 12 shades it’s very rare to find a whole palette with all matte shadows. When I first looked at it I was thinking that some of the shadows weren’t really my style.  At home I tried some of the shadows that I wasn’t keen on in the beginning and they weren’t actually that bad in combination with some of the other colours.

This is my second palette of the same colours because I finished the first one in 2 years and I used most of the colours, which is really rare for me to actually finish an eye shadow palette. The eye shadows are very pigmented but very easy to blend.  This palette is mineral based and it contains 12 eye shadows each weighing 0.03oz (1.1g). Its very good for travelling as well as it has all the shades for different looks and its quite thin so it doesn’t take up a lot of space. Its perfect for your make up bag.

You can purchase it at http://www.boots.com/en/Sleek-MakeUp-i-Divine-Eyeshadow-Palette-Ultra-Matte-2_1395384/  for £7.99.

Do the Hoola: Beyond bronzing kit.

I have been using this Hoola bronzer for a long time and I loved this bronzer. It looks really dark but it’s actually really nice and light on my face. It doesn’t make my skin look orange or dirty, it just gives me a nice light tan, I also use Hoola for contouring as well.  Its great for really quick and easy contouring and I don’t have to spend hours contouring with this product.

Recently I was running low on the bronzer so I was browsing the benefit counter and I saw the Hoola kit, it’s a fairly new kit, which came out a few months ago. So I decided to get it and to try some new products from Hoola as well as trying the Bene balm.  The packaging is beautiful and the kit comes with 5 mini products along with an instruction booklet that gives you tips on how to use each product.

1) Dew the Hoola: This product is a liquid bronzer. It can be mixed with foundation to give you a slightly tinted look, not orange it just gives a very light bronzing effect. It could also just be used as a bronzer as well, however I use it with foundation because it looks amazing as a mix with the foundation on my skin.

2) Hoola Bronzer: It comes with a little brush and is perfect for contouring; it doesn’t run out very quickly so this size is perfect.

3) Bene Balm: The balm looks very red in the packaging just like the Bene tint but it gives my lips just a slight natural colour and is very moisturising and hydrates my lips.

4) Hoola Gloss: It has a nude/golden colour but when you put it on its fairly clear and colourless, its very smooth and not sticky. It has a chocolate/coffee kind of smell and feels very light on my lips, perfect for an everyday lip-gloss.

5) They’re Real Mascara: This product has been out for a while now and it has mixed reviews some people love it some people hate it.  I love this mascara. It’s a really good mascara and lengthens eyelashes and makes them look a lot fuller. This is one of my favourite mascaras and its also the perfect size to keep in my handbag.

Altogether this kit is very good to try new products or just to introduce yourself to the Benefit brand and for £25 it’s a very good way to see which products you’ll like and be happy to re-purchase in future. You can purchase this product from feel unique at: http://www.feelunique.com/p/Benefit-Do-the-Hoola-Kit or on the high street.

EOS Hand Lotion

This hand lotion is 97% natural and paraben-free. It’s made from Aloe Vera, Shea butter, oats and antioxidants. Its great for people with normal and sensitive skin because of the natural ingredients it contains.

It has great packaging, its very easy to use and really convenient. I usually keep it in my pocket so I can use it whenever I need it, which is perfect for me because with other hand lotions I would forget that I had it in my handbag, and never use it. I use the EOS lotion all the time, plus it smells really nice and absorbs into my skin very fast and doesn’t make them greasy. It is one of the best purchases for winter because my hands are so dry all the time, also the perfect size for stocking fillers!! The lotions come in different flavours but are all pocket size, so they are really handy for both men and women.

SK-II Products

This is the most expensive set of products in my skin care collection however in my opinion it is the most effective. The SK-II products are made in Japan and SK-II means secret key. The secret in this product is Pitera, which is full of vitamins, amino acids, minerals and organic acids that work together to allow the skins natural surface rejuvenation process to function to its prime. I currently only own 3 products from SK-II, the facial treatment essence, the stempower cream and the stempower eye cream.

1) Facial Treatment Essence.
This is SK-II’s bestseller. It contains 90% of Pitera. This product looks just like plain water has a light smell of SAKE which is a Japanese rice wine. This product can be used in 2 ways. One way is to use it on a cotton pad, just gently pat it onto your face as it helps to activate skin cells and leaves the skin looking firm and refreshed as well as helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. My skin looks crystal clear and bright.  The other way to use it can be less wasteful, instead of using a cotton pad, pour a small amount into your palm and pat your hands together then gently tap all over your face and neck to ensure full coverage. The instructions recommend using the product twice a day in the morning and in the evening before bed, however I have only been using it in the morning and from what I can see it is working just as well, the product itself absorbs really quickly as well making the process really quick and easy.

2) SK-II Stempower
The packaging of this product is so nice and looks very expensive and classy. The cream looks very thick but its actually quite light, it comes with a spatula, which is very hygienic. You just need a small amount and dot it around your face and gently pat it on. This cream also absorbs very quickly and you can see results on the 4th day, your skin will look hydrated, much brighter and firmer. After using it for a couple of weeks it brings back the elasticity to your face and it looks firmer and feels velvety. In my opinion this is the only cream that makes my skin feel firmer.

3) SK-II Stempower eye cream
I have very dry skin around my eyes sometimes I cant do my eye shadow because it’s so dry, it mainly only happens in winter so I started using the Stempower eye cream and its gotten much better and I only use it on the morning so it’s a daily ritual that doesn’t take too long. The skin around my eyes looks much brighter and tighter and it also helps to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles in that area. It’s a soft and light cream that is absorbed into my skin very quickly.

All of the products can be used together or separately they will still work fine. The products are very expensive but they are worth it and they also last a while as you only use minute amounts. I have been using them for a few months and I'm not even half way through them. In my opinion it is better to pay more for a more effective product that will last and work longer than others.  You can purchase the set of three from http://www.yesstyle.com/en/sk-ii-stempower-face-eye-kit-stempower-50g-essence-30ml-eye-cream/info.html/pid.1039298283
